PRIORITIZE WHAT REALLY MATTERS
In the ever-evolving landscape of freelancing, it’s easy to get caught up in the frenzy of algorithms and search engine optimization. However, I believe it’s time to shift our focus and prioritize what truly matters-the user experience.
Let’s face it; as freelancers, we don’t have control over the algorithms or search engines. Only the engineers who created them hold such power. What we can control, though, is how we make our audience feel when they stumble upon our pitch, title, or gig description. By obsessing over algorithms, we often fall prey to black hat and unethical practices, which can ultimately harm our reputation and success. Instead, by prioritizing user experience, we naturally please the algorithm without compromising our integrity.
“Forget About Word Counts And Keywords Densities. The Real Magic Lies In Connecting With Your Audience And Evoking An Emotional Response Through Your Words”
Be clear and concise, but let your message dictate the length, not some arbitrary rule.
Remember, user experience is the key to unlocking your freelancing potential. Also, when you put the needs and emotions of your audience first, you’ll build lasting connections, receive positive feedback, and foster a loyal clientele. So, let’s ditch the algorithm worries and embrace a user-centric approach. It’s time to empower ourselves with the ability to create meaningful experiences for those we serve.
