HOW DO YOU GET MORE ORDERS ON FIVERR?

So, today’s blog post answers the question; “How Do You Get More Orders On Fiverr?“. I am going to give you some tips and these tips are going to be useful for you if you are a new seller on Fiverr or you’ve been on the platform for a while.

This question is important because I think it will help anybody who is a new seller or who has not gotten their first gig to have an idea of how long it typically takes to get your first order and it could just help calm them down and keep them going. Typically, it takes freelancers 3-5 months to get my very first gig, and ever since then, I have gone up to become a top-rated seller on the platform and currently also a community leader, and trust me, it has been going on and on.

Back to the question of the day, let’s dive right into these tips:

#1. Sampling; Learn From Other Successful Sellers Gig Set-up:

I do not mean copy and paste, mind you, sample gigs in your niche that are very successful and take pointers from them. It could be the titles or descriptions of their gigs in order to position yourself to get it right the very first time.

N.B: Do not underestimate the power of sampling but Do Not Copy And Paste Other People’s Gig Descriptions. Be authentic.

#2. Gig Optimization:

This is paying attention to keywords your buyer might likely be searching for when they come looking for a gig to buy on Fiverr like titles, looking for S.E.O tools, or what keyword would rank more in search.

#3. Competitive Pricing:

This is very important especially if you’ve never gotten your first gig on Fiverr. You should look for the range of prices within your niche and the lowest and highest prices. You can try to underprice your gig especially if you’re new and have not gotten any orders yet in order to get your first order and attract more buyers.

#4. Complete Profile Set-up:

This is about your profile pictures, frequently asked questions, gig descriptions, and every single place you find a text box to fill in, please do not leave them empty. Set up your profile and take your time to make it very nice and clean. Don’t just put up any profile picture and say ‘this should do’, no, it won’t! Use a professional picture for your profile setup because most of the time, that is what attracts clients to purchase from you.

#5. Videos In Gig Sample:

Try to use videos instead of pictures in your sample. This information is tested and trusted, trust me. If you want to use videos, ensure you stand in front of the camera and try to talk to the people because this builds credibility because people can see the face behind the camera as opposed to having a still picture.

#6.  Utilize Buyer Request:

This can not be overemphasized. Try and send as many buyer requests as you can, what is there to happen? If you feel confident that you can deliver a job a buyer has posted, reply to that buyer’s request confidently telling them you can deliver.

#7. Study Your Analytics:

Though there’s not much information on the Fiverr Analytic Page, still it’s a good place for you to spend some time in. Go there and you’ll see bits of knowledge of yours that might encourage you and keep you going through you have not gotten your first order, you will see your impressions are doing well. Sometimes as well, it is a way for you to know if a tweet that you made maybe in your gig descriptions or titles is actually working. Looking at your impressions monthly helps you get to see your progress.

 #7. Be Patient:

Last but not least, I don’t know if this will help you get buyers but you need to be patient whether you have gotten some buyers or you’ve not gotten any at all but if you want buyers to be tricking in, be patient because you need to understand and know that this is a platform with millions of sellers in your niche. Be patient with yourself and don’t compare yourself with other sellers.

I hope you found these tips helpful and I hope you go out and start to implement them. Do them and not just read this article and rush off to not do anything and later complain that nothing is working. If you can’t try at all, try some of the tips and you can let me know how it worked for you.

Thank you so much for reading to the end.
